I know what my life dream is.  But unfortunately many of us have forgotten what our life dreams are.  Or rather, perhaps we have shut them down, closed them off and then forgotten about them.

Why is this?

Fear is often usually a reason.  Fear of failure, fear of ridicule, fear of not making it, fear it won’t be perfect, fear we won’t be liked, fear we won’t be good enough, fear of whatever.

Do you know what your life dream is?

If you do – congratulations!

If not, do you want to know?

Can you access your life dream?

If you don’t have an idea of what your life dream is, take a trip back…

Take a trip back to your childhood.  A trip down memory lane…

What was it that you enjoyed doing when you were young?  What was it that you loved to do?  What was it that you simply couldn’t get enough of?  What was it that you were crazy about?

What was it that you drove your friends, parents and teachers mad about?

What captivated you when you were a child?  What held your fascination?  What were you curious about?   What were you passionate about?

What did you want to do when you where grown up?  What did you aspire to be?  Whom did you aspire to be like?  And why?

Did you even try as a child, to do what it was that you wanted to do when you were grown up?  Did you ever play games  of “when I grow up” that you were actually doing what you wanted to do?

Or did you day dream about it?  Did you drift away and create fantasies in your mind?

What have these questions stirred?  What emotions did you feel?  What memories surfaced?  What was it that you were thinking about?  Where did your mind drift?

Often our childhood holds a key to our life dreams.  Returning to the innocence of our childhood can be a key to access the dream.

Definitely there were keys in my childhood for my life dream.  What about you?  What keys does your childhood hold for your life dream?
